Becoming a Lash Artist is NOT going to be easy but it WILL be worth it.

Throughout my Lash Career I have been reminded of this time and time again. Nothing worth having comes easy. One of the hardest things to do in the Beauty Industry is standing out from others in the crowd to become the expert and the go-to.

Remember the first time you successfully rode your bike without training wheels and actually didn’t crash? How freeing was that experience? To know that all the time and scraped knees and elbows had actually paid off and you were doing it?

Just like learning to ride your bike wasn’t easy and it came with some sacrifices, the same goes for success and fulfilling your dreams. In order to rise to the top in the Beauty Industry, you have to be willing to put in the time and make sacrifices. 

I want to be real with you for a minute. The Beauty Industry is all about, well Beauty, and portraying just that. It is frowned upon to show that those of us in the industry actually do have struggles and it isn’t always as glamorous as it might seem. But how do we push through those struggles to become an expert as a Lash Artist?

This comes from dreaming big, doing the hard work,and investing in yourself. You are going to have the privilege of coming across barriers and overcoming them. I built my Lash Career from the ground up and had to push through many obstacles and by pushing through them, I have become more successful. 

One of the first obstacles I experienced was the lack of training. I was not certified at the time, but I thought I was doing my best until one of my clients told me that they didn’t love my work.

At that point, I knew it was necessary to invest in training and get my certification. I’ve said this before, that education and training are the fast track to reaching your goals and success. And they truly are. With the work that I had been doing, I was on the fast track to nowhere. My business wouldn’t have grown or I might have even lost clients. 

But investing in yourself, getting the education you need to be the best in your Beauty Business is going to propel you past the crowd and into your own league. You just have to be willing to work hard and make that sacrifice. 

Succeeding as a Lash Artist isn’t as beautiful and glamorous like you see all over social media. Although it takes hard work and sacrifice, this Beauty Career path is so incredibly rewarding and worth every obstacle and barrier that you must overcome. 

You get to build relationships with you Clients and you get to provide your them with one of the most pampering and luxurious experiences of their life. And what truly feels amazing is that those clients get to continue feeling special and more beautiful as they continue to wear their lashes. 

You get to accentuate your clients beauty and make them feel like the Queen they really are. And providing my clients with that feeling, is worth every obstacle that I have overcome.
