Things I Wish I Knew Before Becoming A Lash Artist
Hey guys - Karen here! I am the founder of Lash BLVD and creator of Lash Like A Pro Online Training Course. Today I am going to share 4 things I wish I knew before becoming a lash artist. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the tips!
Taking An Actual Training Is A Must!
Here's the deal. Eyelash extensions are not rocket science and are very learnable. That is, if you put the work in and get a proper education.
If you want to be successful, education is key! When I was first starting out, I did not take the proper training. Not only did that delay my success, it also cost me clients.
My Schedule Was Going To Be Crazy Busy
Once I took the proper training, my books grew like crazy! I literally had tons of clients coming back week after week. And I was saying yes to everyone. Back then, I didn't have a proper schedule. I was beyond exhausted, and it was starting to affect my family and personal life. The point is, no matter what your books look like right now, a schedule will change your life.
I Wish I Knew How Attached I Would Get To My Clients
My clients truly did become my best friends. We had very intense conversations about their life, family, work, etc. I felt myself getting very close to them, so whenever clients moved out of state or wanted to take a break, it was tough. It felt just like losing a best friend.
The Amount Of Opportunity For Growth
The potential in this industry is unlimited! Looking back now, I wish I started earlier. But truth be told, I am just glad I got started.
No matter where you are in your journey right now, I highly recommend expanding your services and/or hiring a team. The opportunities are huge! This industry has honestly changed my life in so many beautiful ways, and I will be forever grateful. I wish you nothing but the best on your lash journey!
Xoxo
